![]() We loved sampling the various signature cocktails available at each of the bars. We agreed that we preferred Senses (the fish soup was a real standout) and for one of us Beach Rouge was a bit heavy on the fried food side of things, but that’s definitely just down to personal preference. The food and drink at the two buffet venues was very good with some standout dishes – as simple as it sounds, the coconut ice was exceptional – and we were happy to keep returning to them over the different days.įor lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed both Veli and the Lagoon Bar, and they could cater for whether you had a big appetite (chicken and green burgers were excellent) or were feeling just a bit peckish (poke bowls!).įor dinner, we tried both Senses and Beach Rouge in addition to the buffet venues, and while we could only get late evening bookings they were absolutely both worth a try. The room also came with a complimentary cap, kaftan, hand-fan and flip-flops which was a nice touch. In terms of accommodation, the villa itself was kept spotless daily, the bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable, the view from the deck gorgeous, and we loved the triple shower set up. We loved getting to know everyone and there are too many people to list by name – but if the resort gives out bonuses based on reviews then please do check everyone who was working when we were there, because they all deserve one! As such, we can’t comment on value for money, etc., in relation to other resorts, but we can say firmly that this was the best holiday we’ve ever had!Įvery person on the resort, without fail, was friendly and more than happy to help with any question or request that we had. We should note that we have never been on a holiday like this before and it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. This really was our dream holiday in a phenomenal place and resort we can’t recommend it highly enough.
